The portal facilitates secure communication through encrypted messaging and video conferencing, allows lawyers to manage their clients' cases efficiently with case tracking and document storage features, and provides legal resources to help prisoners understand their rights. By matching prisoners with local lawyers and offering a user-friendly interface, the UnderTrial Prisoner Portal enhances access to justice and promotes transparency in the legal process.
